I have always liked to wear vests over tailored
blouses, but not any kind of vests will do.
Classy vests with basic colors and clean lines are my vests of choice and I recently discovered a company called Edwards Garment that makes beautiful, well made vests as well as a wide variety of fine garments for both men and women, primarily to be worn for work in certain occupations, such as culinary, housekeeping, hospitality, and security, but they can also be worn for everyday wear too.
Today, I am going to share with you some of my
favorites:
Sleeveless Tunic: This tunic has a textured weave material with tailored princess seams, clean lines, and a contemporary style. I have it in the color black, size medium. The vest has two pockets that are on each side of the lower panels of the jacket and three closure buttons that button down the front for a sleek, fitted look. I have a short waist, so this vest helps to give my waist a more elongated appearance. The Sleeveless Tunic looks great when wearing a white tailored blouse under it or over a turtleneck blouse with a skirt. It dresses up any colored blouse that I am wearing and gives it a stylish look that is classy with a touch of elegance. Firenza Vest: This vest is not as long as the Sleeveless Tunic, but it is an excellent choice, if you work at a restaurant, banquet hall, or for everyday wear with its lovely v-neck, textured weave and squared hemline. I like to wear this vest with a white blouse, t-shirt, or over a white leotard. Worn together with a black skirt, jeans, or pants, it looks fantastic and completes the look of almost any outfit that I am wearing. It comes in sizes ranging from XS to 3XL, is fully lined, has a button front, and an attractive square bottom. High Button Vest: This vest has a flattering fit, is a made from wool, and comes in the colors of black and brown. I have one in the color black it looks great if you work in a hotel, resort, or office, but even if you do not work in these occupations, the vest is great to wear any day of the week. The fabric is made from Polyester/Wool and has five buttons that go down the front of the vest. It is fully lined and has two pockets that are discreetly set in the front. It is a lovely vest that can be worn any time of the year with a skirt or pants. Price: $55.90

Sometimes I do not like to wear a long sleeved
